Goya’s memory describes Goya's image through the eyes of Aragon. This is a thoughtful and critical reflection on the artist’s life and work which above all remembers, assesses and celebrates him from the perspective of the site of his birth as a painter, a place with which he maintained close links throughout his life.
The catalogue contains eight essays written by the respected experts Miguel Beltrán, Gonzalo M. Borrás, José Ignacio Calvo, Frédéric Jiméno, Juan Carlos Lozano, Mª Remedios Moralejo, Carlos Reyero and Juliet Wilson-Bareau, who have all covered often-neglected subjects with innovative approaches which lay the groundwork for further studies and projects.
