Arnulf Rainer is considered to be one of the leading figures of the artistic vanguard this century. This member of the Hundsgruppe has produced a series of works dealing with an examination Goya, particularly the Aragonese painter’s faces and images of cruelty and rage.

Winner of the Aragón-Goya 2006 Prize, the catalogue covers the content of the exhibition held in Zaragoza towards the end of the same year to mark the award of the prize.
