Our people
The Aragonese Regional Government approved the creation of the publically-sponsored private foundation called “The Goya in Aragon Foundation” in Decree No. 30/2007 of 27 February 2007. The Foundation was actually incorporated on April 24, 2007.
Its principal objective is to promote research and study and to disseminate the life and works of Francisco de Goya, to support steps to augment public collections of works of art connected with Goya in the Aragonese Autonomous Community and to encourage contemporary creativity in Aragon.
