This is a collection of engravings by Goya not forming part of any series, showing a variety of scenes drawn from the Aragonese artist’s favourite themes.

There are almost thirty engravings, none of which were eventually included in the artist’s great series such as Desastres de la guerra, Disparates, Caprichos or Tauromaquia, being left as individual works which less-frequently printed than the others.

They were produced by a variety of techniques ranging from aqua fortis to lithography and showed scenes of old people on swings, majas or ‘sensational’ landscapes.

The engravings were first put on display in the Zaragoza Museum in May 2009 to mark the re-opening of the Museum.
